Bounce Back: An email that cannot be delivered successfully to the recipient.

Digital Edition (Nonreplica): A publication delivered digitally that maintains the basic identity of the core print product by either having the same name/logo or by referencing it as “an edition of ______.”  However, the editorial and advertising content may be different from the core print product. A publisher may substitute links to the publisher’s website provided the website contains updated or expanded editorial content when compared to the print edition. For AAM reporting, a digital nonreplica edition is classified as a separate edition. The digital edition may not be comprised of a newsletter or unrestricted website access.

Digital Version (Replica): A publication delivered digitally that maintains the same name/logo, editorial content and advertising as the core print product. A publisher may substitute links to the publisher’s website if the website contains updated or expanded editorial content compared to the print edition. The digital version may not be comprised of a newsletter or unrestricted website access.

Digital Version/Edition Pull Method: In the Pull method, the subscriber must log into the restricted website with a unique username and password to retrieve the digital version/edition of the publication.

Digital Version/Edition Push Method:  In the Push method, the subscriber is provided a link to open the digital version/edition of the publication.

Qualified Paid Individual - Digital: A digital-only subscription where the individual consumer paid at least one cent net of considerations. (AAM Rule D 1.1/D 101.1 Paid Circulation Defined applies)

Qualified Paid Print and Digital (Unduplicated): A print and digital subscription to the publication where the consumer paid at least one cent net of considerations. This distribution is not reported under print and/or digital. Instead, it is reported as a separate line item called Qualified Paid Individual Print and Digital (Unduplicated). (AAM Rule D 1.1/D101.1 Paid Circulation Defined applies)

Qualified Nonpaid Digital: Free access to the current digital edition via either the push or pull method. (AAM D Rules under Article 12/112 Qualified Nonpaid apply)

Qualified Nonpaid Print and Digital (Unduplicated): Receipt of both the current print and digital edition of the publication free of charge. This distribution is not reported under print and/or digital. Instead, it is reported as a separate line item called Qualified Nonpaid Individual - Print and Digital (Unduplicated).
