Narrow your list of titles for advanced analysis.
AAM’s Media Intelligence Center houses data for thousands of news, magazine and business media publications. To find the titles that meet your requirements, the Media Intelligence Center offers two different ways to narrow your search.
Search Bar
Located at the top of the navigation window, the search bar allows you to quickly find titles by entering the name of the media property or publisher, the city or ZIP code where the circulation is distributed or by AAM member number.
Filter Feature
On the left-hand navigation, the Media Intelligence Center offers a filter option to narrow your search to a group of publications based on common parameters. You can choose one or more of the following filters:
- Media – Choose the type of publication: news media, magazine media, business media, farm media, religious or interactive publication.
- Status – This option allows you to narrow your list of publications to AAM members with current data (“active”) or previous AAM members (“inactive”).
- Cross Media – Find publications with additional digital metrics such as newsletter, social media, website, app and more.
- Periodical CMRs – This option allows you to quickly select any magazine or business media that reports additional digital metrics on a Consolidated Media report.
- Country – Search for titles in the U.S., Canada, or international markets.
- Digital Editions – A quick search option for finding publications who report digital circulation to AAM.
- Circulation – Select publications of a specific circulation size from one of the pre-selected ranges or specify your own.
- Newspaper Frequency – Find circulation for newspapers publishing on certain days of the week.
- City – Choose the publication city for a newspaper, regional magazine or business publication.
- Parent Company – Choose the parent company for one or more publications.
- SRDS Classification – For U.S. magazines, business publications and farm media, you can narrow your search by SRDS classification.
- CARD Classification – For Canadian magazines, business publications and farm media, you can narrow your search by CARD classification.
- Market Search – This option allows you to narrow your search by distribution within a geographic area:
- State/Province – For news and farm media
- DMA (Designated Market Area) – For news media and magazine media who participate in AAM’s Supplemental Data Report
- CBSA (Core-Based Statistical Area) – For news media and magazine media who participate in AAM’s Supplemental Data Report
- State/Province – For news and farm media
